The main business and investment scope covers waste water treatment, water supply, reclaimed water reuse, water treatment technology research and application, ecological protection and control of contaminated water, garbage disposal and sludge resource utilization and other solid waste treatment field, clean energy, scientific research cooperation and project incubation and other relevant fields. Based on a strategy of “prioritizing core business while promoting diversified development”, DCWT will actively expand global markets, and exert itself to create a knowledgeable and technological high-tech environmental protection enterprise. The number of waste water treatment plants operated, managed by the company now exceeds 40, with total daily wastewater treatment processing capacity reaching 2.2million cubic meters, among which 21 are located in Kunming city or around the Dianchi Lake, with daily designed capacity 1.97 million cubic meters, about 45.1% of the provincial total and over 97.2% of the municipal total, and their average effluent quality being above the National Grade 1A Standard of GB18918-2002. The company shoulders the main responsibilities of reducing pollutant and nutrient emission like COD and ammonia nitrogen in Kunming Municipality and Yunnan Province at large and refilling scenic rivers in Kunming. The company operated the sole recycled-water distribution system in Kunming, the reclaimed water conforms to the national standard in its quality and the supply output had achieved steady growth year by year. The company’s tap water business has developed rapidly, with 6 plants in operation or under construction, including 1 plant in Laos.
